See what colleges frequently do wrong with due process cases on campus, and learn about how to counteract it with your own Student Defenders group! Student defenders serve as a conduct advisor in the university justice system. With both reactive and proactive strategies, student defenders provide a service to individual students, advocate for due process, and protect individual rights. FIRE’s Student Defenders program exists to provide students with the resources they need to start, maintain, or grow their own campus student defender groups.
